Pentax 2004
Charcoal and graphite on paper
52 × 40"
I dropped my camera, and in reaction to the event, I decided
to commemorate the shape and details of the camera and the damage to the
lens. The drawing is residue of the process of work; a decidedly aesthetic
endpoint to an observational source that has been laboured on. I felt
inclined to replicate the observational material as closely as possible
to extend the labour.
